Description EVO-STIK Sticks Like Sh*t Adhesive is a high performance, one component, versatile adhesive offering a good initial grab and a high strength bond. It will bond most surfaces even if both are impervious and can be applied to damp or wet surfaces. Bonds to most surfaces including wood, concrete, brick, plaster, glass, ceramics, metals, rigid PVC, GRP insulation boards and foam polystyrene. EVO-STIK Sticks Like Sh*t Adhesive is available in white or clear, in 290ml cartridges. Also available is a faster setting version – EVO-STIK Sticks Like Sh*t TURBO. EVO-STIK Sticks Like Sh*t is a neutral curing, low odour universal adhesive for interior and exterior use. It is water and solvent free, with minimal shrinkage and low odour. It offers outstanding performance across wide variety of construction applications and typically does not require a primer. Preparation: Surfaces must be sound, clean, and free from any contaminants such as dust, oil, grease, and any loose material. Damp surfaces must be checked for weak or loose material on the surfaces that the presence of damp might hide. EVO-STIK Sticks Like Sh*t should not be used on surfaces contaminated by bitumen, and it is not suitable for continuously damp conditions. Cut off the dome at the top of the cartridge taking care not to damage the thread. Cut the nozzle to the desired width and angle. Screw the nozzle onto the cartridge. Insert the cartridge into a cartridge gun and repeatedly squeeze the trigger until the adhesive appears. Application: Apply parallel beads of adhesive to one of the surfaces, align and bring the surfaces together within 10 minutes. Beads 5mm in diameter are generally sufficient. For close fitting surfaces the bead may be reduced to 3mm diameter. The degree of separation of the beads of EVO-STIK Sticks Like Sh*t will depend upon the rigidity and weight of the panel, board or sign being bonded. A perimeter bead should not be applied as this can increase curing times. For rigid sheets 100 – 150mm separation between beads is generally sufficient for high loading but may be increased if the load is low (such as lightweight wallboards and foam polystyrene) where 200mm – 500mm is acceptable. For less rigid boards the separation may need to be quite small, and it is important to choose the correct bead size to ensure good contact on the mating surfaces. Clamp or support the materials until sufficient time has elapsed. Coverage: 44 metres of 3mm diameter bead per C20 cartridge 11 metres of 5mm diameter bead per C20 cartridge EVO-STIK Sticks Like Sh*t is not suitable for PE, PP, PMMA, PC, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene, and bituminous substrates. EVO-STIK Sticks Like Sh*t is not suitable for continuously damp conditions. EVO-STIK Sticks Like Sh*t must not be used to bond natural stone and mirrors if the mirror is backed with plastic safety film. Do not bond mirrors to painted surfaces, as the decorative finish will be unable to support the load. EVO-STIK Sticks Like Sh*t should not be exposed to prolonged UV radiation, as the product can discolour and become less UV stable. EVO-STIK Sticks Like Sh*t is paintable with water based and most 2 component paints. Synthetic paints can dry slower. It is recommended to test compatibility with any paints prior to applications.
