Description The PCS VipaTray Thames Square Drain Shower Tray is designed to create level access wetroom floors that are to be finished with ceramic or porcelain floor tiles. The pre-formed 4-way sloped falls integrated into the profile of the tray direct water towards the square drainage trap which measures 145mm x 145mm. Constructed from the same material as the PCS VipaBoard Tile Backer Board, the tray is comprised of a high-density extruded polystyrene core, which is coated with a fibre-reinforced cement layer. This combination results in a shower tray with superior thermal efficiency, water resistance, excellent impact strength and sound reduction. Using a PCS VipaTray Thames Square Drain Shower Tray for your wetroom project provides versatility of installation – the easy to cut base allows the tray edges to be trimmed to suit site conditions providing complete flexibility, allowing the drain position to be altered avoiding obstruction from the floor joists. The PCS VipaTray Thames Square Drain Shower Tray is designed for use on suspended timber floors and solid concrete floors, and is available in a wide range of size/trap location configurations. The tray features a factory fitted gasket around the drain grate which provides a secondary waterproofing membrane. The tray uses a drain body which has a drainage capacity of 42lpm (tested under a 15mm head of water with a standard horizontal drain). The PCS VipaTray Thames Square Drain Shower Tray is designed to be used with a PCS VipaTray Thames Drain Kit – available in 3 configurations to suit different applications on suspended timber floors and solid concrete floors. Also available is the PCS Tile Insert Grating for concealing the drainage aperture and creating a seamless shower floor area.
