Description The wedi Fundo Flex Channel Board Element is part of the wedi Fundo Flex Linear Shower Channel Drain System, a flexible shower system consisting of a channel element, a shower channel, a sloping board and a drain. The system is ideal for installation in/on suspended timber floors and screeds, and is flexibly customisable to suit any application. The wedi Fundo Flex system can be installed on almost any surface as a directly tileable, flush-to-floor shower system. The Channel Board Element is made from a rigid XPS foam core with a special cementitious surface coating (the same as wedi Tile Backer Board) and is designed to be paired with a predefined surface gradient board – the wedi Fundo Sloping Board – and the matching drainage system: the wedi Fundo Wave Drain and the wedi Fundo Shower Channel. Due to the special design and the associated system components, the Channel Board Element is particularly easy to adapt to any construction site situation. All system components (channel element, shower channel and sloping board) can be flexibly shortened to the desired size and can be easily combined with one another. With a width of only 35 mm, the channel profile fits perfectly into any bathroom design and thanks to its unique ability to move, rotate and precisely align with the wall, offers maximum installation flexibility, and allows for exacting designs. Thanks to its stepped rebates on either side, the wedi Fundo Flex Channel Board Element can be securely connected to sloping boards completing the installation into a fully sealed shower floor. What’s more, it also allows for the linear drainage to be positioned close to wall, centralised or anywhere in between.
