Description The wedi Fundo Plano Linea range of shower trays are pre-formed trays that feature an integrated linear drain with a horizontal outlet within the structure of the tray itself, to facilitate installation. The required slope gradient is already incorporated into the tray. The wedi Fundo Plano Linea shower tray comes with a standard brushed stainless steel Channel Cover as standard, there are other designs also available to purchase separately – 3 different variations and all drain length sizes. Constructed from the same materials as the wedi Tile Backer Board, the wedi Fundo Plano Linea tray consists of a blue core made from extruded polystyrene rigid foam that is reinforced with glass fibre (with alkali-resistant finish) on both sides and coated with a polymer-modified cement. This core is 100% waterproof and remains fully functional even after possible damage. With a total height of 70mm, the wedi Fundo Plano Linea Shower Tray is the thinnest wedi floor-level shower system and is designed for renovation projects where often, every millimetre counts. We recommend using the wedi Fundo Sealing Set – this complete set contains wedi 520, sealing tape and 2 internal corners for waterproofing up to 10 metres of joints in a shower installation. The wedi Fundo Plano Linea can also be used with the wedi Fundo Discreto – an attachment that creates a wall drain, with endless design possibilities such as seating, storage or a full wall panel area. When installing this tray in a level access shower floor it is recommended to use the wedi Fundo Slope Profile Trim for Riolito Neo & Plano Linea and wedi Fundo End Profile Trim – these are stainless steel sloped/end trims for finishing the exposed sloped edge and end of the shower tray, during the installation of floor-level showers. This trim is designed to perfectly match the slope of the Plano Linea shower tray element and saves the complicated and time-consuming chamfering or cutting of the tiles to cover the gap.
