Description The Impey Aqua Dec EasyFit Shower Tray is an extremely strong, tileable shower tray with pre-formed falls, constructed from 22mm thick, rigid GRP (glass fibre and polyester resin) composite with reinforcing ribs on the underside to distribute loads evenly. The Impey Aqua Dec EasyFit Shower Tray can be installed directly onto wooden floor joists at 400mm centres, with no additional support or can be bedded into screeded floors. A unique feature of the Impey Aqua Dec EasyFit Shower Tray is the rotating drain plate – this allows the floor drain outlet to be positioned to avoid joists or other obstructions, and has 3 locating rings to provide a superior hold between the floor former and the drain plate. Each tray can be easily cut to size with a handsaw to fit in awkward spaces. The Impey Aqua Dec EasyFit Shower Tray measures 22mm in thickness at the outer edge, the same as a standard floorboard, in order to create a level-access wet room floor. The edge features preformed countersunk fixing holes for fixing the tray down with the supplied fixing screws. Each tray features pre-formed gradients with 4 way falls to the drainage point. Each Impey Aqua Dec EasyFit Shower Tray is supplied as standard with a gravity waste UTT01/H Tiled Floor drain with a horizontal outlet and a brushed stainless steel grate. This drain is specifically designed to secure the Impey WaterGuard Waterproofing Membrane into place using a clamp, guaranteeing a secure watertight seal at the drainage point. The patented height adjustment mechanism allows for a variance of 6-26mm in tile depths. This drain has a flow rate of up to 36l/min, depending on the drain top chosen. The drain also incorporates a 50mm water seal to prevent odours escaping from the drainage system and a 43mm solvent weld pipe connection.
