Description The RUBI Diamond Polishing Pads are specially designed for dry work on natural stone surfaces, especially granite and marble, as well as cured concrete. Used correctly they produce excellent finishes on any flat surface and creation of bevelled edges on marble and granite, other natural stones and cured concrete. Suitable for use with the RUBI M14 Velcro Backing Pad 100mm for angle grinders. The RUBI Diamond Polishing Pads measure 100mm in diameter and are available in the following grit levels: 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, 3000 and a buffing pad. All of them are differentiated by individual colours, for quick and easy identification. The 50 and 100 grit pads are for initial work, when a larger grit level is necessary. (for exceptionally rough surfaces use a RUBI Diamond Grinding Flap Disc first.) These grits can only be used at a maximum RPM of 2000. The 200, 400 and 800 grit pads are for medium polishing work and their maximum RPM is 5000. The 1500 and 3000 grit pads are the finest and recommended for final polishing jobs. Their maximum RPM speed should not exceed 5000 rpm. The buffing pad is used for the final finish in polishing natural stones and cured concrete. The maximum working speed of this disc is 3500 RPM.
