Description The Amber Underfloor Heating Manifold is a stainless steel underfloor heating manifold that is available in 2-12 port sizes. The design consists of two manifold bars, one for the flow and one for the return, complete with bracket, automatic air vent, drain fill valves and pressure gauge. Designed for use with the Amber Wet Underfloor Heating Pipe and Amber Pump Sets for Underfloor Heating Manifolds. An underfloor heating manifold such as the Amber Underfloor Heating Manifold is a system that distributes warm water to each UFH zone. They connect the Amber Underfloor Heating Pipe to the heat source, feeding water at the correct temperature from either the boiler (via a blending valve) or from the heat pump, directing it to each UFH pipe at the correct flow rate. On the flow bar of the Amber Underfloor Heating Manifold each port has a flow indicator, with isolator, including an easy-to-read gauge-glass. Each port on the return bar is equipped with an integral control valve and protection cap which allows the user to adjust the volume of water, or can be removed to accept a Manifold Thermoelectric Head. Balance is achieved by adjusting the flow meters to ensure that the flow rates supplied to each zone are at the optimum level to provide an even and comfortable warmth across the entire floor. Features: Supplied pre-mounted on installation brackets Valves on return manifold accept a Manifold Thermoelectric Head for remote control of each zone 1″” ball valves available, filling and drain-off points (not supplied with manifold, available to purchase separately here – Amber Isolation Ball Valves) Connections are Eurocone (not supplied with manifold, available to purchase separately here – Amber Eurocone Pipe Fitting) Flow meters with isolating valves included Warranty: 5 years When installing the Amber Underfloor Heating Manifold, choose a place where you can install it easily, neatly, and where the central heating pipes can be seamlessly passed around. A suitable place is often under the stairs, in the storage area or in the wall near the meter. The size and type of manifold required for underfloor heating depends on the project, the number of rooms, flooring and the type of underfloor heating system used will all need to be taken into consideration.
