Description The wedi Bathtub Sealing Tape is for the waterproof sealing of the edges of bathtubs and shower trays made of steel, enamel, acrylic or similar, prior to tiling. The wedi Bathtub Sealing Tape is a 3.6 metre length of wedi Sealing Tape with a pre-applied self adhesive butyl rubber strip. The tape is available as a single roll, or as an optional set with a length of double-sided self adhesive foam tape for decoupling the other side of the sealing tape from the wall against which the bathtub/shower tray is abutted. Application: When sealing, the wedi Bathtub Sealing Tape must be bonded onto the tub or shower tray with the self-adhesive butyl strip, and pressed on evenly. The surface seal is attached to the wall using wedi 610 Adhesive or wedi 520 Waterproofing Slurry. In the case of installation with wedi 610, the wedi Bathtub Sealing Tape should be pressed evenly into the adhesive bed with a roller. In the case of bonding with wedi 520, the front and rear side of the sealing tape should be embedded in filler.
