Description JACKOBOARD Self Adhesive Sealing Tape is a waterproof sealing tape made from an artificial carrier fleece coated with a self adhesive butyl rubber. It is used for sealing corners and joints in JACKOBOARD PLANO Tile Backer Board installations to be waterproof, in wet areas such as wet rooms, bathrooms and shower areas that are regularly exposed to water. The tape measures 100mm in width and is supplied in 20 or 10 metre rolls. Both the tape and the corners feature a split paper backing that is easy to remove. JACKOBOARD Self Adhesive Sealing Tape & Corners are easy to install – simply remove the split paper backing and place over the joints/corner junctions to be sealed and press firmly to achieve a strong bond to the underlying substrate. Once applied, cover with a layer of JACKOBOARD Waterproofing Membrane – a pre-mixed slurry waterproof coating, or the cement-based JACKOBOARD 2K 2-Part Waterproofing Slurry.
