Description The RUBI DELTA Tile Levelling System Kit is a kit containing the component parts of the RUBI DELTA Tile Levelling System: 100 Clips, 100 Wedges and 1 pair of levelling pliers all in one handy bucket. The RUBI DELTA Tile Levelling System Kit is an ideal way to get started with using the system. All the component parts are available to purchase separately. As the clips are the most consumed part of the system, these are available in a wide range of sizes and quantity options. The RUBI DELTA Tile Levelling System Kit is designed to avoid the creation of tile lippage during the installation of ceramic tiles, both in floors and walls, ensuring that all your tiles are perfectly level with one another. The RUBI DELTA Tile Levelling System is comprised of a thin plastic clip that is designed to be fitted in the grout joint between two tiles. A plastic wedge is then driven by a pair of specially designed pliers into the aperture in the centre of the clip until it sits flush on the surface of both tiles, so that they are both level. Once the tiles have set, the clip is easily broken off by kicking the clip or using a rubber mallet, leaving only its base bedded in the adhesive under the two tiles, which have now set in a perfectly level position. The plastic wedge is fully re-useable, which saves costs on further jobs, as you only need to buy clips. The RUBI DELTA Tile Levelling System clip is available in 1mm, 1.5mm and 2mm widths to suit the corresponding grout joint width and are designed for use with tiles that are 3-12mm in thickness. These clips are made from different colour plastics for easy identification. Use the consumption table guide to determine how many clip/wedges you will need for your project. Also available is the RUBI Tile Protector for levelling systems – an anti-scratch plate that is designed to avoid potential accidental damage during installation of tiles that have a particularly delicate top finishing. You place it in between the wedge/screw cap and the tile by inserting it on the levelling clip before wedge/cap application. This prevents scratching delicate tile surfaces by ensuring the wedge/cap does not touch the tile but slides on the protector instead. This protector is compatible with both the RUBI DELTA Tile Levelling System and RUBI CYCLONE Tile Levelling System. The pliers included with the kit are special traction-adjustable pliers that facilitate accurate levelling and quick insertion of the wedge in the clips.
