Description Stainless Steel Expansion Joint Tile Trim – Removable Insert is designed to provide edge protection for tiled surfaces that are exposed to foot and vehicular traffic while absorbing lateral movement of the tiles caused by mechanical stresses. This prevents the tiles from cracking and is often used in large tiled areas, such as supermarket floors, etc. Stainless Steel Expansion Joint Tile Trim – Removable Insert is formed from two stainless steel lateral anchoring legs, connected with a removable strip of flexible polyurethane rubber which absorbs movement. Stainless Steel Expansion Joint Tile Trim is made from 304 grade stainless steel, which is suitable for exterior use and in areas that require high levels of hygiene, such as commercial kitchens/bathrooms. Also suitable for use in areas that have high exposure to chemicals and in damp areas. Stainless Steel Expansion Joint Tile Trim – Removable Insert has a rubber infill section that can be removed and replaced after installation. Having a removable insert allows you to replace the insert if it gets damaged, worn or simply if you want to change the colour. Available in 3 different infill colours to suit your tiling installation – black, grey, and jasmine. The visible width of the joint when installed is 16mm.
