Description Stainless Steel Expansion Joint Tile Trim is designed to provide edge protection for tiled surfaces that are exposed to foot and vehicular traffic while absorbing lateral movement of the tiles caused by mechanical stresses. This prevents the tiles from cracking and is often used in large tiled areas, such as supermarket floors, etc. Stainless Steel Expansion Joint Tile Trim is formed from two stainless steel lateral anchoring legs, connected with a strip of flexible polyurethane rubber which absorbs movement. Stainless Steel Expansion Joint Tile Trim is made from 304 grade stainless steel, which is suitable for exterior use and in areas that require high levels of hygiene, such as commercial kitchens/bathrooms. Also suitable for use in areas that have high exposure to chemicals and in damp areas. Stainless Steel Expansion Joint Tile Trim has a bonded rubber infill, available in 3 different colours to suit your tiling installation – black, grey, and jasmine. The visible width of the joint when installed is 12mm. This trim is also available with a removable rubber insert – Stainless Steel Expansion Joint Tile Trim with Removable Insert.
