Description The wedi I-Board WC Tileable Panel is a fully prepared solution for cladding wall hung toilet dry wall installations ready for tiling or plastering. Available in two variants, wedi I-Board and I-Board Plus. Both solutions include all components required for quick and easy cladding of WC dry wall installations. The choice of the right variant depends on the final surface design, e.g. small or large-format tiles, mosaic or plaster. The standard wedi I-Board WC Tileable Panel measures 1200 x 1245 x 20mm and is a pre-fabricated element for the cladding of wall-mounted WCs, with the appropriate size holes already cut in the board to accommodate the plumbing and fixing connections. With a width of 1,200 mm, it can easily be adapted to virtually all needs. The connection to the carrier element is made either with wedi 610 adhesive and sealant or alternatively with the wedi tile backer board washers and the included self-tapping screws. Despite the the wedi I-Board WC Tile Backer Panel being light weight, it is extremely strong, stable and is suitable for large-format tiling (up to 400 kg weight load from a tile size of 10 x 10 cm). The installed cladding board can be tiled directly without further surface preparation. The wedi I-Board Plus WC Tileable Panel is designed specially for plaster and mosaic tiling and combines all the benefits of the standard wedi I-Board but has an additional reinforcement plate integrated in the factory. As a result, the pressure load from the attached wall hung toilet bowl is perfectly offset so that the dry wall installation can be individually tiled with mosaic from 2 × 2 cm or plastered (plaster ≥ 3 mm). Both wedi I-Board variants are supplied with 6 x wedi fixing washers and 6 x self-tapping screws. Constructed from the same materials as wedi Tile Backer Board, the wedi I-Board WC Tileable Panel consists of a blue core made from extruded polystyrene rigid foam. The rigid foam is reinforced with glass fibre (with alkali-resistant finish) on both sides and coated with a polymer-modified cement. This core is 100% waterproof and remains fully functional even after possible damage.
