Description JACKOBOARD Flexo Curved Tile Backer Board is a bendable version of JACKOBOARD Plano Tile Backer Board. It features pre-cut slots cut into the surface or the board, which allow it to be curved to fit small radiuses. This board is designed for forming curved elements in bathrooms and wet rooms which can then be tiled, plastered or rendered over. It is available in two board sizes, 1300 x 600mm with cross-wise cut slots and 2600 x 600mm with length-wise cut slots. Each board size is available in either 30mm or 50mm thicknesses. JACKOBOARD Flexo Curved Tile Backer Board is extremely easy to bend, making it ideal for creating curved shapes. Its extruded polystyrene (XPS) foam core makes it water-repellent, and the special coating on both sides permits the direct application of tiles, render or plaster. That means JACKOBOARD Flexo is the perfect construction board for forming curved contours in rooms with high humidity – and due to its excellent thermal properties, it can also be used as a flexible thermal insulation board. JACKOBOARD Flexo Curved Tile Backer Board can be curved to fit extremely small bending diameters: 30 mm thickness: inside 240 mm, 50 mm thickness: inside 480 mm. It is very easy to work with, weighing between 3-6kg per m² whilst retaining excellent dimensional stability. It can be cut to any dimension using basic tools such as a hand saw or craft knife.
