Description Dukkaboard Tile Backer Wedge Panel is a pre-formed sloped panel with a thickness that measures lengthwise from 20mm at one end of the board to 8mm at the other end. Available in two sizes – 1200mm x 600mm and 1200mm x 1200mm. The 1200 x 600mm board is available with the fall going down the 600mm side (short fall), or down the 1200mm side (long fall). Dukkaboard Tile Backer Wedge Panel was designed for quick and simple channel drain applications. Dukkaboard Tile Backer Wedge Panel is manufactured using a high-density extruded polystyrene core with a polymer modified, glass fibre reinforced cement coating on both sides. This creates the ultimate substrate for tiling onto – rigid, strong, waterproof and dimensionally stable. The board does not require any preparation prior to tiling apart from waterproofing the joints with Dukkaboard waterproofing tape or the Dukkaboard Aqua77 Tanking Kit. This Panel can be fixed directly to timber or metal studwork instead of plasterboard. Can be used to replace ply for strengthening floors or to cover old tiles and plaster instead of removing the ‘old surface’ and replastering. Moisture and rot proof Ideal for bathrooms, showers and wet rooms. Dukkaboard Tile Backer Board is also suitable for exterior use.
