Mapei Ultracare Kerapoxy Cleaner for Epoxy Grout Residues

Description Mapei Ultracare Kerapoxy Cleaner can be used both for fresh cleaning operations and after completing laying work to remove traces and stains of epoxy grout residues. It will remove traces and marks of all epoxy grouts, including Mapei Standard Kerapoxy, Kerapoxy CQ, Kerapoxy Easy Design, from ceramic and glass mosaic tiles. Mapei Ultracare Kerapoxy Cleaner is available in 750ml spray bottles and 5 litre refill tubs. Mapei UltraCare Kerapoxy Cleaner is a simple to use product that easily removes traces of epoxy grout from porcelain, glazed ceramic, glass mosaics and nonabsorbent surfaces. It is also a ready to use product, so no dilution is required. It can be used immediately after grouting as well as being able to remove cured residues. It is also suitable for cleaning the tools used to apply epoxy grouts. Mapei UltraCare Kerapoxy Cleaner is a concentrated liquid detergent. Mapei UltraCare Kerapoxy Cleaner is used to remove residues, stains and marks of epoxy grout without giving off hazardous fumes. If used correctly, UltraCare Kerapoxy Cleaner does not damage either the coating surface or grouted joints. Cautions: • Do not use on polished marble or stone. • Do not use on wood. • Do not use on methacrylate baths. • Before using on materials with an unknown surface resistance, test the product beforehand to make sure it does not damage the surface. • Before using the product, protect all surfaces which could be damaged in direct contact with the product. Application: Mapei UltraCare Kerapoxy Cleaner is diluted and ready to use. Apply it directly onto the surface to be cleaned or onto the traces of grout residue and leave for a few minutes. Then work over the surface with a Scotch-Brite® pad. Remove the solution and then rinse thoroughly with clean water. The product is particularly efficient on fresh grout. If cleaning is carried out a few hours after applying the grout, it may be necessary to leave it standing for longer (at least 15-20 minutes) or you may need to repeat the cycle. For residues that have cured on the surface over time or if residues persist then use UltraCare Epoxy Off Gel. Please refer to the relative technical data sheet for the application method. For applications on flooring it is possible to carry out cleaning with single disc cleaning machine.
