Description PVC Round Edge Tile Trim is an extruded round edge PVC tile trim for giving a protective and neat finish to tiled corners and edges in bathrooms and other tiled areas. This profile features a small quadrant face which is good for 3 dimensional alignment, overhang lips to better butt against the cushion edge of the ceramic tile and a second upright support to close the face and make it suitable for floor tile use. Available in 6mm, 8mm, 10mm and 12mm internal heights. All sizes come in lengths of 2.5 metres. PVC Round Edge Tile Trim is available in 2 colours, White or Soft Cream – to suit the most popular tile and grout colours. This trim is made from UPVC, which is particularly suitable for a wide range of application due to its excellent chemical resistance, however note the following: Not recommended for use above 60°C resistant to most oils, alcohols, petrol and fats. It is unsuitable for use in contact with aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, ketonesm nitro compounds, esters and cyclic ethers with cause some swelling. Matching external corner pieces are also available for neat finishing on corner applications. Installation: Select the appropriate sized PVC Round Edge Tile Trim according to tile thickness. Trowel tile adhesive over the area that forms the perimeter of the tiled covering. Press the perforated anchoring leg of the PVC Round Edge Tile Trim into the tile adhesive and align, mechanical fix if required. Trowel additional adhesive over the perforated anchoring leg to ensure full coverage. Solidly embed the tiles so that the tiled surface is flush with the top of the profile, the profile should not be higher than the tiled surface, but rather up to approximately 1 mm lower.
