Description Genesis PVC Straight Edge Tile Trim is a UPVC tile trim for use with rectified or square cut tiles as well as standard ceramic and porcelain tiles. It can also be used as a capping strip for areas that are not fully tiled or ceramic skirting. Genesis PVC Straight Edge Tile Trim is available in 4 colours: 01 White, 11 Grey, 16 Black and 32 Soft Cream. Each colour is available in 8mm, 10mm and 12mm internal height sizes, 01 White is also available in 6mm. All sizes are supplied in 2.5 metre lengths. Genesis PVC Straight Edge Tile Trim is particularly suitable for a wide range of applications due to its excellent chemical resistance, however note the following: It is not recommended for use above 60°C, but is resistant to most oils, alcohols, petrol and fats. It is unsuitable for use in contact with aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, ketonesm nitrocompounds, esters and cyclic ethers as they will cause some swelling. Genesis PVC Straight Edge Tile Trim requires no special maintenance. It is recommended for it to be cleaned periodically using a neutral detergent to maintain the appearance. Regular cleaning aids the longevity of the profile and ensures there is no corrosion that could affect safety. Installation: Select the appropriate depth size of Genesis PVC Straight Edge Tile Trim for your application according to tile thickness. Trowel tile adhesive over the area that forms the perimeter of the tiled covering. Press the perforated anchoring leg of the trim into the tile adhesive and align, mechanical fix if required. Trowel additional adhesive over the perforated anchoring leg to ensure full coverage. Solidly embed the tiles so that the tiled surface is flush with the top of the profile, the profile should not be higher than the tiled surface, but rather up to approximately 1 mm lower.
