Description Dukkaboard Iso-Shield is designed for all types of floor tiling installations such as sound timber substrates and concrete floors. Providing superior protection against water migration and substrate cracks, it is ultra-thin with a thickness of under 1mm. Dukkaboard Iso-Shield has optimum connection to tile laying materials due to its dual sided fleece lamination. Manufactured from waterproof string fabric sheathing, it provides decoupling and tension reduction between top coverings of tiles, slabs and natural stone and the subfloor in indoor applications. Supplied in 1m x 30m rolls. Movement in substrates underneath is a common problem. This movement causes tension on the tiles leading to them cracking. Dukkaboard Iso-Shield provides a layer between the substrate and tiled covering to contain the movement caused by expansion and contraction and stops it from transferring to the tiles. Please Note: While it is an impervious product, to fully waterproof surfaces, it must be used in conjunction with sealing/waterproofing tape to seal joints and corners. Dukkaboard Iso-Shield is suitable for use on sound substrates including timber and cracked concrete floors. It must be stuck down using high quality standard flexible tile adhesive. Select an adhesive in accordance with the substrate type. Dukkaboard encourage users to confirm suitability with their own trials before installation.
