Description The GRABO Ottovac Powered Vacuum Suction Cup is an electric battery-powered suction cup, suitable for lifting glass and materials with smooth, flat and non-porous surfaces. It is designed specifically for use with many types of flat glass, including windowpanes, glass partitions, windscreens, and other smooth materials such as plastic, metal, painted wood, marble and smooth tiles. The suction cup is similar in design to more traditional suction cups that feature a manual vacuum pump that is operated by the users thumb, and consists of a highly durable, ergonomic steel handle and a robust rubber vacuum seal that leaves no marks on the surface. It is easily operated via the button at one end of the handle and creates a strong suction seal to the material in seconds. The GRABO Ottovac Powered Vacuum Suction Cup also features a pressure gauge on the body of the cup which displays the pressure strength of the vacuum within the cup whilst in operation. In the event of a loss of vacuum, it has an integrated sensor that automatically re-activates the air pump, ensuring that the materials can be transported without any risk of losing suction and dropping the material. The GRABO Ottovac has a maximum lifting capacity of 100kg (220lbs) and is powered by 4 x AA Alkaline batteries (not included). A standard set of batteries is usually good enough to last for approximately 1500 on/off cycles of the suction cup. The batteries are stored within the handle of the suction cup.
