Description The range of RUBI Scoring Wheels for Manual Tile Cutters is a varied range of tungsten carbide scoring wheels, that offers the tile installer the possibility of adapting and enhancing the characteristics of all their manual cutters to all the tile materials on the market. Available in several sizes, the RUBI Scoring Wheels adapt to all the current ceramic and porcelain materials, obtaining the best performance for each of them. They are easily interchangeable depending on the type of material. The user does not need any tool for it. Being a fast, clean and simple exercise that increases the productivity of each one of our manual cutters. RUBI Scoring Wheels are available in 4 class types: SILVER – For cuts with low average difficulties on ceramic & porcelain tiles. Designed mainly to work with tile materials that have enamelled or natural surfaces with smooth and slightly rough finishes. For scoring and subsequent separation of tiles of any type: tile (BIII), glazed stoneware (BIb – BIIa), rustic or extruded stoneware (AIb – AII) and of course porcelain stoneware (BIa). GOLD – For cuts with medium high difficulty on ceramic & porcelain tiles. The range of RUBI GOLD scoring wheels increases the wear resistance of tungsten carbide by means of a titanium coating. Thanks to this treatment, RUBI GOLD scoring wheels offer a superior life than SILVER scoring wheels. This increase in life, under the same conditions of use, is up to 50% longer life than the SILVER scoring wheels. They also offer greater resistance to roughness, capable of cutting on non-slip materials or rustic stoneware (especially suitable for outdoor use). The recommended use of the RUBI GOLD Scoring Wheels is in the scoring of glazed stoneware (BIIa / BIb), rustic or extruded stoneware (AIIa / AIb) and porcelain stoneware (BIa) with smooth and / or slightly rough finishes. ENDURE – For cuts with high difficulty on ceramic & porcelain tiles. Thanks to its careful and studied design, RUBI ENDURE scoring wheels are ideal for obtaining excellent cuts in tiles with a high cutting difficulty, especially for all those materials with rough or structured surface finishes (reliefs and textures). The ENDURE range of scoring wheels doubles the life of the SILVER standard scoring wheel, under the same conditions of use. EXTREME – For cuts with extreme difficulty on ceramic & porcelain tiles. For the most difficult ceramic & porcelain materials, the RUBI EXTREME scoring wheels are mounted on a bearing to completely eliminate the friction of the scoring wheel itself with the axis of the scoring wheel. This combination allows the behaviour of the RUBI EXTREME scoring wheel to be much superior to the rest, offering a smooth score and a life of 300% superior to the SILVER standard scoring wheel, under the same conditions of use. Specially designed and recommended for scoring ceramic materials with rough and structured surface finishes (reliefs and textures). Each class of RUBI scoring wheels are then sub divided in two different models, for use with different RUBI Tile Cutter ranges: STANDARD – suitable for all RUBI manual tile cutters, except those of the TK, TX and TZ ranges (these use the PLUS wheels) and TEN-BRIC, BASIC, TQ, TP, RCH, RCH RS and SLIM Cutter ranges (these use standalone individual cutting wheels that are not shaft mounted). PLUS – for use only with the RUBI TK, TX and TZ Tile Cutter ranges.
